We initiated significant improvements to address issues from previous versions by overhauling our infrastructure, implementing innovative data modeling techniques, and refining configuration ingestion processes as we transitioned to server authority.
- Conducted in-depth exploration into the migration process, assessing the feasibility and requirements for transitioning our codebase to MongoDB.
- Explored the implementation of a ProtoBuf layer for efficient data communication between client and server, enhancing system performance and scalability.
- Contributed to the setup of the application within a Docker container and the utilization of Kubernetes, optimizing deployment and management processes for enhanced efficiency and scalability.
- Spearheaded the development efforts in simulating gameplay entirely on our backend, ensuring robust testing and enhancing the overall stability of the system.
