William was a pivotal member of the Deer Hunter team and studio. He is a strong all-around engineer capable of building applications from front to backend. William is passionate about the polish and craft of the end product. I highly recommend him.
William is a high leveled, intelligent Software Engineer with excellent communication skills. From the first day I stepped in to my role at Glu Sports he was willing to help me get up to speed with any questions I had. Once I took a bigger step into the server code base, William was always there to respond to my questions, both in person and on Slack. His expert knowledge of the code base was obvious and his code is always up to specifications with our systems. He even became a full stack engineer and worked within our Unity client code with no issues. It was a pleasure working with William and any team will be lucky to have him.
I had the pleasure of working with Will for about 6 years at GluSports within EA/Glu. In that time I saw Will grow into an absolutely incredible fullstack senior software engineer. Initially, Will was working on client concentrating on UI/Meta/etc, but when an opportunity came available to expand his knowledge into backend server work he jumped at the chance. Whether working on client or server, Will just gets stuff done. He is always happy to assist in whatever need arises and is not hesitant to bring his own ideas to the table. I don't think I have ever met somone who was so excited about ripping out killswitches or moving client authoratitive code to the backend. I would wholeheartedly recommend Will for any position. With his breadth of knowledge in many areas, he will be able to join any team and take it to the next level!
